About Nikki Joy - Professional Voiceover Artist

Bridging science and soul—where expertise meets empathy

With over two decades of experience as a biomedical engineering and patent agent in the medical device industry, I bring a unique combination of technical expertise and storytelling ability to every project.

I’ve built a career on translating complex technical concepts into approachable, accessible content. With roots in Fortune 500 companies and deep expertise in medical device reprocessing and sterilization, I’ve spent years creating and delivering technical training that connects.

Now, as a voiceover artist, I bring that same precision and authority to medical narration, corporate narration, eLearning, explainer videos, IVR, and more.

As a certified yoga instructor and mom of two, I also know how to bring warmth, presence, and authenticity to every read.  My voice is where authority meets approachability—confident, grounded, trustworthy, and real.

Clients count on me for professional polish, fast turnarounds, and authentic delivery that resonates.

From Biomedical Engineer to Voiceover Professional

Before pursuing a career in voiceover, I spent over 18 years of my career in the healthcare and medical device industry, specializing in medical device reprocessing, sterilization assurance, and cleaning monitoring.

  • Lead Global Application Engineer at 3M / Solventum – delivering training, technical content, and medical education to healthcare professionals worldwide.

  • Patent Agent at 3M – drafting and prosecuting patents in medical and technical fields, translating complex innovations into clear, defensible language.

This background gave me not only technical fluency but also the ability to communicate scientific and medical content with accuracy, empathy, and authority—a natural foundation for medical and technical narration.
